I like to knit tube socks from the spin off special sock booklet. However I did not like how the socks spun around my foot. So I added an after thought heal to the tube sock pattern and when I had enough cuff; I put in the scrap yarn row and knit until I thought the foot was long enough. Left the toe stitches live. Than went back and picked up the heel stitches (knitting a toe). Then finished the toe so they faced the same way.
Tubey Heely Socks were born!
